Dr. Shivani Gupta, DDS – Master ICOI, Associate Fellow AAID
Dr. Gupta has been a practicing dentist for 18 years; for the last 10 years, she has been practicing implant dentistry in California. She has worked at several community health centers and private practices throughout Northern California. In 2015, Dr. Gupta started Peninsula Dental Implant Center in San Carlos to exclusively focus on dental implants.
Andy – Treatment Plan Coordinator & Lab Engineer
With a background in mechanical engineering and a family legacy in dentistry, Andy combines technical expertise with a passion for precision in designing and fabricating dental prosthetics. His work focuses on restoring smiles and boosting confidence, enhancing patients’ quality of life. Andy enjoys traveling, fine cuisine, and live music outside of work, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and experiences.
Jyoti – Patient Care Coordinator & Administrative Manager
Jyoti Jain was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by her brothers, whose dedication to the field motivated her to follow in their footsteps. She finds fulfillment in educating patients about oral health and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. Outside of work, Jyoti enjoys sightseeing and watching movies, which allow her to unwind and gain new perspectives.
Jenevieve – Virtual Assistant – Billing and Insurance Coordinator
Jenevieve’s passion for connecting with people and her fascination with the dental field led her to a career dedicated to providing exceptional care. She finds fulfillment in building strong patient relationships and positively impacting their dental journeys. A memorable moment in her practice involved helping patients feel at ease by attentively addressing their concerns, leaving them more confident and at ease. Outside of work, Jenevieve enjoys science fiction movies, playing badminton with friends, and staying active through exercise.
Ezra – Front Desk Receptionist & Patient Relations Specialist
Ezra’s interest in dentistry began at 18 when she had the opportunity to work alongside three dentists, sparking a fascination with dental treatments. She enjoys working with patients, bringing his extensive customer service experience to a goal-oriented team focused on improving oral health. A memorable moment in her career was hearing a patient’s transformation story after undergoing the All-on-6 implant procedure, which moved her deeply. Outside of work, Ezra is a licensed life insurance agent, breathwork facilitator, and tattoo artist, passionate about helping others and spending time with her two dogs and fiancé.
Azam – RDA (Registered Dental Assistant)
Azam Ebrahimi was inspired to pursue a dentistry career by combining family tradition and a personal desire to make a meaningful impact on others’ lives. She finds the greatest reward in knowing her work directly improves her patients’ health and well-being. Her memorable experience is helping shy or self-conscious patients transform their confidence after treatment. Outside of dentistry, Azam enjoys hiking, going to the gym, spending time with loved ones, and pursuing her passions for music and dancing.
Eddie – RDA (Registered Dental Assistant)
Eddie ETU is a registered dental assistant motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives through improved oral health and confidence. He finds great fulfillment in building personal connections with patients and helping them navigate their health challenges. A memorable experience for Eddie was referring a patient who struggled with self-esteem due to dental issues and witnessing their transformation in oral health and confidence. Outside of work, Eddie enjoys sports, music, cars, and reading and values spending time with his family and striving for personal growth.
Elizabeth – RDA (Registered Dental Assistant)
Elizabeth Castro was drawn to dentistry by its versatility and the opportunity to impact people’s lives, especially by enhancing their confidence through a beautiful smile. She enjoys connecting with patients and learning about their unique dental journeys, which keeps her engaged and inspired in her work. A memorable part of her practice has been helping Spanish-speaking patients, as she understands the challenges of language barriers and finds fulfillment in guiding them through their treatments. Outside of work, Elizabeth is passionate about weightlifting, traveling, and experiencing new cultures, which keeps her inspired and curious.
Luis – Sterilization Technician- Sterilization Technician
Luis Sotelo was inspired to pursue dentistry after a positive experience during his first visit to the dentist as a child. He finds great fulfillment in working with patients from diverse backgrounds, appreciating the unique perspectives they bring. A memorable moment in his career was assisting in his first surgery, where he gained confidence under the guidance of Dr. Gupta. Luis enjoys spending time with his children and participating in outdoor recreational activities outside of work.
