What happens before dental implants?

Your implant journey starts with a consultation to discuss your smile goals. We then use dental X-rays, CT scans and intra-oral scans to evaluate your dental health, including jawbone strength. This step is followed by the surgical placement of dental implants in your jawbone. We provide a temporary crown or bridge and we then leave your implants for four to six months to heal — allowing your implant to fuse with the jawbone through osseointegration. After healing, we install an abutment and finally screw a permanent denture or bridge to your implants to replace your teeth.
